We're on the home run now. after the week at Farnborough, we spent the weekend in Bournemouth staying with friends. Saturday the 3 of us visited Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door on the Dorset Coast, where the Goldswains went on camping holidays as kids. Next stop was Corfe Castle built in the 10th century and now a ruin on the hill and 12 pounds to explore! We then drove onto Swanage and had a look around before getting the chain ferry, ad shortcut back to Bournemouth.
Now back in Windsor for the last two days where we'll have a quiet couple of days and saying final farewells before flying out on Tues nite. The rain has finally stopped and saw some sun today, had a pub lunch today before a long walk to the Windsor Great Park. Queenie is in residence at the mo so shall watch the guards changing tomorrow.
tues nite we fly to Hong Kong for 2 nights and a bit of shopping, then home sweet home.
We have lots of photos on our cameras and phones so will share when we get home.
