Back in England

Arrived Gatwick on Wednesday and picked up a rental car, drove to Bournemouth where we stayed a night with one of Johns old diving mates, then drove onto Tavistock the next day where we stayed two nights Sue Goldswain. We visited Bovisand, a Napoleon fort, which was Johns old diving centre. Friday we drove through floods to Ringwood where we met the Aerodac people to sort out logistics prior to Farnborough next week. A quick drive over to Gillingham (Wiltshire) and stayed Sat nite with Paul and Pauline in their 17th century cottage. gillingham is a beautiful part of country steeped in history. Sunday (yesterday) onto Windsor for family party and watched Wimbledon final - good seeing everyone.

English summer has been very wet. This week John is traveling to Farnborough each day so James and I will potter around Windsor and maybe go up to London. We have passes for Farnborough on Fri which we're told is the best day for the air displays.

Monday morning now and we are staying with Nina and Peter in Windsor. they have a little boy Thomas, the cutest redhead. James has found a skatepark nearby so will head out soon, and I'm keen to walk the long walk to the Castle, about 3 miles.

will sign off now - love to all.
